Objective: The present study intends to examine the situation and experiences of the Islamic Revolution Housing Foundation in preparing urban development plans related to dilapidated and disorganized fabrics, and consequently extract the approaches and models used in the prepared plans so as to be implemented in similar projects. Method: The present study from the research type view is classified in applied research and qualitative in terms of research method. In order to achieve the goal, the content analysis method, which is a type of qualitative research method, has been used. Interviews with key figures have been conducted using semi-structured interview tools and in a targeted manner. The questionnaire data analysation was figured out using SPSS software and data interpretation was performed using the data analysis process through coding, categorization, and definition of the unit of analysis in MAXQDA 2020 software. Results: The results of the study show meddling with the renovation courses and natural disasters aftermath, and that intervention in inefficient urban textures by this institution will also be effective by utilizing models such as regeneration, reconstruction, empowerment, relocation, construction in place, improvement, partity, and redevelopment. Conclusions: Finally, models such as improvement by utilizing people's participation and intervention, utilizing social capacity with the aim of developing construction, utilizing the support and cooperation of social organizations, improvement with an integrated and sustainable urban development approach, institutional capacity building and creating infrastructure, improvement and empowerment of disordered neighborhoods, decentralization and delegating authority to cities, structural design for urban renewal and regeneration, urban improvement using combined strategic planning, and developing stimulating projects by creating participatory associations are proposed for intervention in the projects of disorganized urban fabrics of the Islamic Revolution Housing Foundation.
